Green Decision Labs & Research (GD Labs and Research) is seeking an active and community-oriented Social Mobilizer to support project implementation through community engagement, participant mobilisation, awareness-raising on waste management and recycling, and field-level monitoring, while ensuring strong integration of GESI principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilise communities and participants in assigned wards
- Conduct awareness activities on waste management and RU
- Coordinate with ward offices, local groups, and stakeholders
- Support trainings, follow-ups, and field monitoring
- Ensure GESI-inclusive community engagement
- Collect field data and report progress to supervisors
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum SEE/SLC or equivalent education
- At least 1 year of experience in community mobilisation or field work
- Experience working with local communities or ward offices
- Knowledge of waste management, recycling, and RU concepts
- Strong community engagement and communication skills
- Fluency in Nepali; local language skills an asset
